Does Finli operate outside of the United States?

This article will review where in the world Finli can be used, as well as who can sign up to be a Finli customer.

In short, anyone can sign up to be a Finli customer, but in order to process payments through Finli, there are several criteria potential customers should keep in mind.

In Order to be a Finli Customer Who Can Process Payments, You Should

  1. Be a business. Finli is a B2B service provider, which means we serve customers that own businesses.  But if you're not incorporated, don't worry. We also serve those who are sole proprietors (freelancers) and those who are business partners.
  2. Have a U.S. based bank account. In order to comply with our AML (Anti-Money Laundering) Policies, we can currently only send payments to dollar-denominated bank accounts based in the U.S. Please feel free to reach out to us at info@finli.com if you're not sure whether your bank account qualifies.
  3. Have the ability to accept ACH payments. In order to keep our system as cost effective and efficient as possible, we use ACH to process and send payments to you. (ACH stands for Automated Clearing House; in everyday terms, it's just a bank-to-bank transfer.) Nearly every bank account in the US accepts ACH. If you're unsure about whether your bank accepts ACH payments, please don't hesitate to reach out to use at info@finli.com.

What if my customers are located outside the U.S.?

We do not have any restrictions on whether your customers need to be in the United States.

To use Finli's system, all they will need is a U.S. based bank account in order to pay through ACH. They can also use any Credit Card (in any currency, not just the dollar) as long as it is on the Visa or Mastercard network.  With Finli, you now have a broader capacity to service your international customer base.

If my business currently doesn't meet the criteria, how will I know when Finli will expand their services to me?

While we're currently limited to businesses that meet the three criteria listed above, we are constantly opening up our services to more customers.  Join our newsletter to be the first to know whenever we expand our services!
